Purple Lovegrass, or Erasgrostis spectabilis, is a quick-growing native perfect for Florida's hot (and often dry) conditions. Its light purple inflorescences give it a misty and delicate appearance. It tolerates a wide range of soil conditions but flourishes in sandy soils. It's a great choice for erosion control as well.
