Butterfly Milkweed, or Asclepias tuberosa, is a perennial and larval host for Monarch, Queen, and Soldier butterflies. It blooms spring through fall. It is an excellent alternative to the invasive and harmful Tropical Milkweed sold at big box stores and garden centers. It enjoys full sun and is drought tolerant.
