Pink Swamp Milkweed, or Asclepias incarnata, is one of the many native Milkweeds of Florida. Aptly named, Swamp Milkweed prefers rich, wet, muddy to average garden moisture. Its flower clusters are a vibrant pink and attract a wealth of pollinator, most notably the Monarchs and Queens which host their larvae on it. If you want to incorporate Swamp Milkweed into your home landscape but don't have a moist enough location, a pot with no drainage holes will do just fine. It enjoys full sun to partial shade.
